Saints’ Brees helps iVillage to promote health, fitiness
Beginning Friday, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will begin a program to help people get stronger using “real life” as training tools.
As part of the Get Moving Now Challenge at iVillage, Brees will show everyone how chasing kids around a backyard or climbing the stairs can be part of a home fitness program.
One of the biggest online communities aimed at women, iVillage is working on the Get Moving Now Challenge in partnership with the President’s Challenge, the top program of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition.
Besides Brees, Get Moving Now coaches include LA Clippers’ Grant Hill, White House trainer Cornell McClellan and Olympian Allyson Felix.
Get Moving Now is a free, six-week online fitness program. Go to iVillage.com to sign-up.
